The code book entitled “City of Solomon Zoning Regulations”, which includes subdivision regulations, is hereby incorporated by reference as authorized by K.S.A. 12-3009 et seq. and K.S.A. 12-755 et seq., in order to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents and to preserve property values throughout the city by regulating the use of land and the size and location of improvements within the city according to zoning districts, and providing penalties for the violation of said regulations. Said regulations are further amended by Ordinance Nos. 637, 649, 665, 667, 703 and 709.

Not less than three (3) copies of the above-described code book shall be marked “Official Copy” and filed in the office of the City Clerk. Such copies shall be available for inspection by the public at all reasonable business hours.

The map entitled “Zoning Map of the City of Solomon, Kansas”, as amended by the Governing Body, is hereby adopted, and the City Clerk is directed to certify the same as the official zoning map of the City of Solomon, Kansas. Said map shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk and shall be available for inspection by the public at all reasonable business hours. Said zoning map is further amended by Ordinance Nos. 638, 668, 674, and 688.
