All Police powers and law enforcement duties within the City of Solomon, Kansas shall be controlled by the Sheriff of Dickinson County, Kansas, as contracted with between the Sheriff and the City Council.

The sheriff of Dickinson County shall have power to make such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the proper and efficient conduct of the department. Such rules and regulations shall be approved by the governing body.
